Open-Of-Course provides a selection of multilingual online courses and tutorials, using the Moodle VLE, with the focus on educational information that benefits daily life.
The available courses relate to computers, the Internet and learning languages. For anyone interested in these areas, there is certainly lots to choose from.
I found the course covering the ECDL syllabus with Open Office, all be it older versions of both, to be quite useful.
However, there is no date on the site, so it is hard to tell just how up to date the materials are. Also, some of the links within the modules are broken but, having said this, there is still lots of useful information and links provided at Open-Of-Course.

ALISON, based in beautiful Co. Galway, are providing free online skills training in several areas including the full ECDL syllabus. Two options are provided – Microsoft Office 2000 or Microsoft Office 2003.
ALISON also provide courses for each of the individual Office components including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Unfortunately, no reference to OpenOffice yet! Several Health and Safety courses are also offered by ALISON.
Their mission is to ”enable anyone, anywhere, to educate themselves for free via interactive self-paced multimedia”. Further, it is their stated belief “that through ALISON, the cost of access to high quality education can be removed” and that ”all certifiable or standards-based learning for every subject can be made available for free online“.
First came across this site thanks to a reference on Zaid’s blog, which has lots of other interesting posts regarding free resources.
